After completion of my master’s degree, I will decide whether I want to pursue a PhD in kidney cancer research under the supervision of Dr. Sandra Turcotte or gravitate towards a more clinical oriented career. If so, I will certainly want to utilize my cancer research skills that I acquired during my undergraduate and graduate studies into my future career. Knowing that cancer research is critical for clinical advancements and many other aspects of healthcare, my goal is to participate in purposeful research that could potentially reduce the burden of cancer diagnosis and treatment outcomes for patients in the future.
