As a thoracic surgeon, Dr. French treats lung and esophageal cancers. A Dalhousie Thoracic Surgery database is being established to prospectively record a complete and accurate dataset of all patients treated for lung and esophageal cancer in Nova Scotia. Continuously review and analysis of this dataset looking at quality outcomes will allow targeted interventions to reduce wait times, improve patient satisfaction and long term survival.
