Biostatistics methods, cancer epidemiology, population health

I am passionate about utilizing a full range of research approaches, including advanced statistical approaches to understanding cancer etiology based on administrative and survey databases. I am also interested in using spatial disease mapping methods to identify the geographical regions with a high risk of cancer and environmental exposures. In addition, I am interested in developing risk prediction models using both statistical and machine learning techniques which may be used to inform early diagnosis and facilitate cancer prevention planning. My long-term goal is to generate scientific evidence that can inform policies and programs to reduce cancer morbidity and mortality.
