Research Interests:

Pediatric pain, child health, pain in pediatric cancer and cancer survivors, acute/medical/procedural pain; chronic pain; knowledge mobilization; patient engagement

Dr. Chambers’ research examines developmental, psychological, and social influences on children’s pain, with a focus on family factors. She is passionate about research impact and ensuring her work improves children’s pain in policy and practice. Dr. Christine Chambers is a leader and innovator in patient engagement, partnerships, and the mobilization of health research and is also the Scientific Director of Solutions for Kids in Pain/SKIP, whose mission is to improve children’s pain management by mobilizing evidence-based solutions through coordination and collaboration.
