BHCRI Notice

To all BHCRI faculty and trainees:

On Friday (March 20th), Dalhousie University determined that, with the notable exception of those researchers investigating Covid-19, all ‘non-essential’ research programs will cease activity. We recognize that this decision is directed only to Dalhousie University but other institutions within Atlantic Canada may also adopt this policy. As of today, all resources (including trainee stipends) provided through BHCRI will continue regardless of restricted access to research facilities.

BHCRI remains dedicated to supporting you during this unprecedented situation, and we hope that you will get in touch if there is anything that we can do to assist. We will be providing regular updates as the impact of this pandemic unfolds. In the meantime, we hope that everyone is managing under very difficult circumstances and is looking after themselves, their friends, families and neighbors.
