The Beatrice Hunter Cancer Research Institute Announces the Fall Cancer Research Training Program Pilot Program and Awards Competition
Twice each year the Beatrice Hunter Cancer Research Institute holds a competition that provides funding to graduate students, postdoctoral fellows and clinical research fellows undertaking cancer research at recognized institutions in Atlantic Canada. A limited number of traineeship awards from various funding sources will be offered to outstanding applicants with an interest in cancer research. Supervisors must be Scientists, Senior Scientists or Associate Members of BHCRI to apply.
To become a CRTP trainee and apply for funding (CRTP Award), Both the Intent to Apply Form and Pilot Program Application must be completed and received by admin@bhcri.ca by the deadline of 4pm ADT on 7 September 2022. If you are already part of the CRTP Pilot Program, please complete the Intent to Apply section only (please review the guidelines for information).

The CRTP Award application deadline is 4:00pm ADT on 4 October 2022. Funding for approved awards will begin on 1 January 2023.
If you already have funding and would like to become a trainee in the Cancer Research Training Program (CRTP), please complete the Pilot Program Application section only by 4pm ADT on 7 September 2022. All trainees working in cancer research in Atlantic Canada are encouraged to apply for the Pilot Program to become part of CRTP. Being part of CRTP has many benefits.
