The Beatrice Hunter Cancer Research Institute (BHCRI) welcomes individuals across Atlantic Canada with a demonstrated interest in cancer research. This includes researchers, clinical care providers, research trainees, individuals working within support organizations, or anyone committed to advancing BHCRI’s mission and goals.

Membership Update - December 2025
BHCRI’s new membership structure takes effect in January 2026.
Faculty membership fee renewals will take place alongside our 2026 Cancer Research Conference registration. Details are outlined below. A link will be provided to access the new membership portal once it opens.

| Trainee | $0 | Undergraduate, graduate, post-doctoral fellow, research associate or medical trainee with a research focus on cancer. |
| Patient partner | $0 | Person with lived experience contributing to the patient partners program or serving on a BHCRI committee |

| Affiliate member | $0 | Faculty, clinical staff, non-trainee research staff with a research focus on cancer. |
| Scientist | $150 | Faculty, clinical staff, non-trainee research staff with a research focus on cancer. |
| Senior Scientist | $300 | Faculty, clinical staff, non-trainee research staff with a research focus on cancer. Membership is discounted to $150 for membership on at least one committee per year. |
*Memberships can be purchased for 1 or 5 year terms, with a 20% discount for the latter.
