A Clinical Genomics for Precision Oncology Workshop – Registrations Open Now!
BHCRI is proud to partner with Bioinformatics.ca to launch the Clinical Genomics for Precision Oncology Workshop, taking place November 4–5, 2025 in Halifax, NS.
This 1.5-day, hands-on workshop directly supports BHCRI’s strategic pillars of research excellence, training and support, and networking and collaboration. By equipping cancer researchers and clinicians with practical bioinformatics skills, we’re advancing the integration of genomics into clinical oncology and strengthening the capacity of Atlantic Canada’s cancer research community.
🔬 Learn to:
- Navigate clinical bioinformatics workflows
- Use the GATK toolkit effectively
- Manipulate and interpret genomic data
- Distinguish somatic vs. germline variants
- Apply genomic insights to clinical outcomes

Fees: Early Bird: CAD $50 for applications received between August 28, 2025 to October 13, 2025 | CAD $100 for applications received between October 14, 2025 to October 27, 2025
Limited to: 30 participants | No Coding experience Necessary! Open to BHCRI CRTP clinical researchers, researcher scientists, post–doctoral fellows, and graduate students with cancer genomics research projects.
