Mitacs – Supporting Collaborative Research
Director, Business Development - NS
Anne Spence is Director of Business Development for Mitacs in Nova Scotia. In this role, she connects members of academia and industry to facilitate and support research collaborations. Anne has a research background in both academia and industry in previous roles, such as Regional Research Manager of Eastern Canada for GE Healthcare, Translational Research Manager at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, and Senior Research Technician for Cancer Genomics and Proteomics at University Health Network. She holds a BSc. Biology from Acadia University and a MSc. Microbiology and Immunology from McGill University. Anne currently resides with her family in her hometown of Lunenburg, NS.
