Project Title:

Targeting IL-17R-controlled tumor metabolism to treat triple-negative breast cancer

Scholarships and/or Awards:

  • Cancer Research Training Program (CRTP) Traineeship Award 2020
  • IWK Post-Doctoral Fellowship, IWK Health Centre, Canada, 2019
  • IRDF Postdoctoral Fellowship, NSERC, Canada, 2012-2014
  • Retroviral Research Fellowship, FSP Group, Aarhus University, Denmark, 2005
  • Doctoral Fellowship, Aarhus University, Denmark, 2006-2009
  • Undergraduate- and Postgraduate Scholarship, Northeast Forestry University, National Forestry Department, China, 1992-1999

Career Aspirations:

My research interest is to understand the key signaling pathways in immunity and cancer, and how changes in gene expression contribute to immunity and malignancies. By gaining new knowledge and hands-on skills in cancer biology, I would like contribute to a better understanding of the pathogenesis and treatment of cancer.
