  • Biomarkers of disease

One of the most important areas of emphasis for cancer researchers is identifying markers of disease that can be used for detection of cancer or to track how the patient is progressing. We have several teams of researchers engaged on this challenge, which include the clinicians who are dealing with patient diagnosis and treatment as well as researchers who are experts in powerful methods of analysis such as mass spectrometry, genetic sequencing and immunodetection. This picture shows a mass spectrum from multiple reaction monitoring analysis of glycoproteins present in patient blood.
