BHCRI Cancer Research Workshop
The cancer research workshop was developed to enhance the training of cancer research trainees, although the presentations may be of interest to anyone in the field of cancer research. The guest speakers, representing various areas of cancer research, have been chosen for their expertise on the topic.
The BHCRI/TFRI Workshop will be held May 24, 2019 from 8:30am-5:30pm ADT in Room C170, main floor of the Collaborative Health Education Building (CHEB). This is a Joint Workshop for the Terry Fox Research Institute Atlantic Node and the Beatrice Hunter Cancer Research Institute.

Registration information will be posted as soon as it is available. This event is open to all researchers and students throughout Atlantic Canada. The workshop is mandatory for CRTP Trainees.
The deadline for registration is 4pm ADT on Friday 10 May. Attendees are to arrange their own travel to the workshop (economy class). Hotel accommodation may be requested through the online registration form.
Terry Fox Research Institute – Atlantic Node and the Beatrice Hunter Cancer Research Institute Trainee Travel Award 2019
Cancer Research Trainees in Atlantic Canada who are not part of the Cancer Research Training Program (CRTP) are invited to apply for one of ten travel awards in the amount of $500.00 each to support travel to the workshop being held May 24, 2019 in Halifax.
Trainees must be a member of BHCRI in order to be eligible to apply for the bursary. Membership applications may be submitted with the bursary application for approval: http://www.bhcri.ca/membership
