The New Investigator Awards will be offered once per year in September with a set deadline. A Scientific Review Committee will be appointed to review the grant submissions. The New Investigator Awards will be for $25,000 per year for two years. As many as three grants per year will be offered with one each to basic, clinical and population researchers, with this last category very broadly defined. Ivor Hamilton Cancer Care & Education Awards - Funds for these awards are provided by Dalhousie University as part of the Ivor Hamilton Cancer Care & Education Fund and are administered by BHCRI. Projects may come from any area of cancer research but must be clearly related to cancer prevention education and include a research component.
Only BHCRI Senior Scientists or BHCRI Associate Members who have Dalhousie faculty appointments are eligible to apply.
